Abigail Streeter is the Electronic Resources Librarian at Stony Brook University. She has been responsible for overhauling the streaming video and e-resource workflows at SBU since 2020. She was a high school librarian in Tonawanda, NY before coming to Stony Brook University.
As Morrisville’s Online Learning and Instruction Librarian Adam is responsible for guiding campus online instructional services, OER, accessibility, coordinating new emerging technologies for use by student and faculty populations, and the development and maintenance of social media and other marketing initiatives. In an instruction capacity he develops information literacy modules and resource for the campus course management system and the development and maintenance of online tutorials and subject guides.
Adrianna Martinez is a Research & Education Librarian at SUNY New Paltz. She has a background in history, digital humanities, and critical library pedagogy. In her research and pedagogy she centers the student experience and strives to create collaborative mentorship opportunities. In her career as a reference librarian she strives to build pathways for identifying and building tools to navigate oppressive systems within and extending beyond librarianship.

Angus Powers, Professor of Glass, is the Glass Area Head in the Sculpture and Dimensional Studies Division at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. Angus has work in both national and international collections and has received four Excellence in Teaching awards during his tenure at Alfred University.
Ashley Dirzis is an Adjunct Reference Librarian at the College of Staten Island. She received her MSLIS from Pratt Institute in 2022 and is currently working on a Master’s degree in English Rhetoric and Composition at the College of Staten Island.
Beth Evans is a reference and instruction librarian at Brooklyn College, CUNY. She focuses on scholarly communication, the intersection of technology, users and libraries, and building diversity in libraries. She has worked extensively at her college on general education implementation and assessment and has served as a faculty associate to a dean.

Currently, Cheryl is a team member in the Library Resources Management Services Department and is also Coordinator for the Archives & Special Collections.

Claire Ehrlich is the Reference and Instruction Librarian at Mohawk Valley Community College, where she works to make research less mysterious to students. She lives with her loving family and mostly-indifferent cat in Jamesville, NY.
Cori Wilhelm is the Libraries Program Manager at the SUNY Center for Professional Development. Her previous roles include Library Director at SUNY Canton and SUNY OLIS Program Manager. Cynthia L. Koman has been a librarian at the Dwight Marvin library since January of 2009. Prior to employment here, she worked at Albany Medical College for 7 years. Some of Cynthia’s accomplishments while at HVCC includes recipient of the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Librarianship in 2019, co-authorship of an article for the Journal of Library & Information Science in Distance Learning and the internship mentor for 8 graduate library science students from various universities.
Dana Laird is the Technical Services Librarian at SUNY Brockport. Dana manages electronic resources and serials and currently serves as focal for Technical Services and Systems. She also serves as a member of the library’s Student Engagement Committee. Dana earned her MLS from the University at Buffalo.
Desiree Scretching is a third-year doctoral student. She has earned a bachelor’s in business and is currently enrolled at Syracuse University’s iSchool. With over five years of experience as a researcher Scretching will be working as a graduate assistant on the NYLA project. Desiree’s hobbies include crocheting, reading, and cuddling her dog.

Don Lee is Professor of Management at Seattle Pacific University, and he holds a PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. Don teaches courses in strategic management and introductory business practices and conducts research on international trade. Haleigh Mikolajczyk is a Public Services Coordinator at the Alfred University Libraries, an Instructional Support Assistant at Alfred State’s Hinkle Memorial Library, and a current UB MS-ILS student with the University at Buffalo graduating in the summer of 2023. Hilary Dorsch Wong is an Instructional Services Librarian at SUNY Cortland’s Memorial Library. She serves as liaison to the Biology, Geology, Chemistry and Physics departments. She has previously worked at Cornell University’s Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections, the Ithaca College Library, and Wells College’s Louis Jefferson Long Library.

Janet Hauck is the Business and Social Sciences Librarian at Seattle Pacific University, and holds an MLIS from the University of Washington. Janet especially enjoys partnering with students and faculty, and visiting classes to teach research skills. She has recently published a chapter for the ACRL publication, Teaching Business Information Literacy.
Jennifer Jensen is the Scholarly Communication Librarian and co-lead of the Open Educational Resources (OER) Initiative at SUNY Oneonta. She coordinates the library’s resources and services for scholarly publishing, open access, and open education, and she serves as a Faculty Advisor to the SUNY Oneonta Academic Research (SOAR) undergraduate journal.

Jessica Finkeldey is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at SUNY Fredonia. She assigns open educational resources in her courses and recently implemented an open educational pedagogy project wherein students collaborated to create an OER textbook. Her research examines the predictors and consequences of contact with the criminal justice system.
Jillian Sandy (she/her) is an Instruction & Outreach Librarian at Binghamton University. In prior roles, she has worked in libraries including at SUNY Corning Community College, St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the University of Dayton, and the Dayton Metro Library system’s bookmobile.
Jocelyn Ireland has been the Instructional Design Librarian at Mohawk Valley Community College since 2016. She is the former president of SUNYLA (June 2021-June 2022). Her interests include being a lifelong learner, running 5Ks at turtle speed, reading historical fiction, and UDL.

Joseph Riggie is the head of Information Management at SUNY Buffalo State University in Buffalo, NY. He works with library systems, acquisitions, and resource sharing. Joe’s research interests include extended reality in libraries through augmented and virtual reality. Outside of work, Joe enjoys reading science fiction and playing fantasy football.

Lindsay Bush is the Research and Instruction Librarian at Union College where she teaches in the library instruction program. Her scholarly interests have developed around three interest areas: authentic learning, instructional theory, and the overlap between writing, reading, and research.
Logan Rath is an instruction librarian at SUNY Brockport. Logan achieved full rank in 2021 and recently completed his PhD from UB.

Violet O. Price
Violet O. Price, MLS, is currently Head, Library Resources Management Services Department and serves as a faculty member at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University for the past 24 years. A SUNY Chancellor Award recipient for Excellence in Librarianship, Mrs. Price serves on numerous committees within and external of SUNY, but her greatest joy is serving as a SUNYLA Delegate.
Virginia Wakim is the Access Services Librarian at Drake Memorial Library. Prior to joining SUNY Brockport, she was the Interlibrary Loan Lending Supervisor at the UC Irvine Libraries. Virginia received her MLIS from San Jose State University.
